This high-tech thriller modeled after Tom Clancy fell a bit short of my expectations. The techno-babble might impress the lay person, but the book quickly departs from reality when delving into the details of cyber security. For example, the team discovers an entire, complex application on the magnetic strip of an ATM card. In reality, these strips can only hold a couple hundred bytes or so. Perhaps I'm just too old and cynical, but I'm tired of the "Can you enhance that image?" trope.
