Amazingly detailed account of the Bay Area Laboratory Company's involvement in the steroids scandal that erupted in the early 2000's, implicating many high-profile, Major League baseball players, NFL and USA Olympics track & field athletes. This book was so instrumental in revealing the facts that the authors were convicted of contempt of court and served jail time rather than reveal their sources. I remember vividly the testimonies of Rafael Palmeiro, waggling his finger, Samy Sosa feigning poor English, Mark McGuire, embarrassed and uncomfortable, Curt Shilling, and others which predated this book by almost two years. A "must read" if you are a fan of sports and baseball in particular.
