Stonington High Swimming
In its fourth year of competition, Ledyard-Stonington swimming competes in Connecticut's ECC division, and is sponsored by Friends of Stonington High Swimming.
The solution for the FOSHS site was a customized weblog based on the open source “Simple PHP Blog” project.
The blog approach provides easy access for FOSHS to add news and current event information at their convenience.
SimplePHPblog allowed quick development and launch of the site, including straightforward user-configurable content-management based on flat files and a PHP front end.
On top of the blog, we added appropriate branding imagery and custom pages for the team roster, parent contact list, and swimmer photos, along with simple user authentication and file uploading scripts.
