Constant Waterman
Matthew Goldman, the “Constant Waterman,” is a toolmaker, woodworker, land surveyor, playright, and author.
After years of playwriting and editing poetrey, he recently published a book of his memoirs entitled “The Journals of Constant Waterman” which is available from his web site.
The overall layout and design of the site was already in place when Matthew approached us for a rebuild of the site to include an online ordering and payment system.
Leaving the basic design in place, we re-wrote the code to make it sleeker, more efficient, and compliant with current W3C web standards.
The site in its current form is primarily static XHTML with a minimal user authentication script and PHP front end to allow Matthew to periodically update content related to current and upcoming events. The online ordering system is driven by PHP and MySQL to securely process and track book sales and visitor feedback.
